GREAT POETS FROM AROUND THE WORLD JOIN TOGETHER IN COPENHAGEN
Copenhagen International Poetry Festival is back. On Thursday, the 28th of April, the horse carriage will ride through inner Copenhagen, carrying poets shouting out verses to the crowds on the streets. The traditional sign that the great Poetry Festival has begun.
The following three days, you have 17chances to experience this plethora of enchanting poems and poets,either at LiteraturHaus, Assistens Kirkegård, Poesiens Hus,Møllegades Boghandel or the spanish book-café Rayuela.
You can look forward to meeting poetry in Icelandic, Arabic, German,Swedish, Norwegian, English, Croatian, Spanish, Italian and Danish.Nearly every foreign-language poet and nearly every Danish poet will be available in translation at the festival.
Go on holiday from April 28th to April 30th and take part in the International Poetry Festival at full blast!
