The Occasion
We intend to echo and enrich the cultural diversity of Norrebro as well as the community of LiteraturHaus as a cultural nexus of Copenhagen. With the 20-year Anniversary, we are proud and grateful to bring a bit of collective musical spirit to close this days program, a bright party, appropriate sound, and thoughtful visuals. We will provide an uplifting, homely, and welcoming atmosphere along with the more unique and eclectic sounds that characterize The Gathering events. The Visual Art will be designed and run by Alex, aka @happynohope, with the commitment of a solid visual experience.
Music genre
Our musical atmosphere oscillates through diverse genres consistently enriched by folkloric and ethnic elements sourced from different regions of the world. It shares our expat and diaspora condition and embraces elements and beats from different cultural backgrounds. It always stays rooted in the core of electronic music, channelling this influence to energize the dancefloor constantly.

Who are we?
Founded in 2023, The Gathering is a growing collective serving as a nexus for a diverse community of individuals. Anchored in Copenhagen, they bring together local, expat, and diaspora friends and artists driven by a profound passion for music and creativity. Our collective vision transcends borders. We aim to enable spaces and foster community awareness through the transformative power of music, art, and cultural diversity. The collective’s activities include organizing musical events and DJ performances, recording musical sessions with members and friends, and collaborating with local organizations and venues to host cultural and public awareness initiatives. Our events offer a cozy space for diverse communities to connect, dance, and celebrate cultural exploration through eclectic DJ lineups, blending electronic with global influences to constantly energize the dancefloor.
